Echo Lake Engagement Portraits

These two were such troopers! It was 60 degrees, sunny and perfect in Denver. We got up to Echo Lake on the way to Mt. Evans and it was cloudy, cold and windy. SO windy! Toi and Tyler were visiting from North Dakota so, luckily, they were used to the cold.

Echo Lake is beautiful for portraits because it has a huge (duh) lake with mountain range around it, as well as a forested area right next to it. It gives you great options for backgrounds. I love the look of aspen trees, especially with black and white pictures (like above) because of the great contrast.
