Distressed brick and white walls
When I moved in to this space a few years ago, I knew it would be perfect for my style of photography. There’s a great lived-in character to the space. It’s not perfect but it’s got loads of character.
I use this space for a variety of Denver photography: newborn portraits, simple 15-minute portrait sessions for babies and children, business headshots, branding photo shoots and family portraits.

Studio Furniture
Filling it with furniture and chose pieces that were versatile and kid-friendly was my number one priority. I still wanted enough space for kids to dance and run around.
I love using the white futon flat for kids to lay down with their baby siblings for fun snuggle shots. It works well folded up to look like a couch when doing headshot photography or family portraits.
The bench and pink chair are nice options for single portraits of kids and babies on their own.
I have white and light gray walls, plus a fun brick wall that adds some warmth and character to your photos.

The Back Room
I offer dresses for women and clothing for little girls and love having a separate space to keep them. It’s a perfect little dressing room with a full-length mirror and a small bathroom.
Parents love being able to store carseats, bags and extra gear in the back. All I have to do is shut the door and the mess is hidden!

Toys for kids
I have a wooden rocking chair, rocking horse, wooden blocks and cars for kids to play with during their portrait sessions.
Being the seasoned parent that I am (ha!), I don’t bring these out until the very end of our portrait session. Kids can get super attached to these and then they’re in every photo!
