Originally from the Chicagoland area, I moved to Colorado in 2003 to pursue my love of photography. Since then I have worked in the newspaper industry full-time as a photojournalist. During that time, I began shooting weddings for friends, and quickly found out how much I love being at events where people want me. I also love capturing the best side of people, in portraits with their spouses, or a child's giggle in a family portrait. That is why I do my portraits in an environment where people feel comfortable, like a park or their home, as opposed to a studio.
I am willing to travel anywhere to be a part of your big day. My passport is valid and ready to be used.
Other than taking photographs, I love hiking and snowshoeing with my dog, Tucker, and boyfriend, Bryan. I love cooking, and eating, books, music, a cold beer, and strolling around Denver.
I am also a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
